Action Short Description
After years of efforts, PekAmeA is establishing its 1st Supported Living House (SYD) in the area of Agios Ioannis Rentis, in the heart of the city. The building, which will house four adults with intellectual disabilities, was acquired through a private donation.
Renovation work has already started! In order for SYD to start its operation, we need the complete furnishing of the space: beds, bedside tables, desks, sofas, armchairs, table and chairs, bookcases, as well as household linen, e.g. curtains, bed linen, etc.

Short Description of Institute
The Day Care Center for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities "PEKAmeA" was founded by the Piraeus Association of Parents, Guardians & Friends of Persons with Disabilities in 1997. It is based in Tavros, Attica, and serves up to 35 adults with intellectual disability.
