Action Short Description
We support the children of Syzoi with specialized treatments in a snoezelen room so that they can enjoy the best they deserve.
This year's last Tuesday in November is the opportunity to support our children to enjoy not only what is vital for their health, but also the best they deserve!
The visual education/stimulation program in a multi-sensory environment snoezelen has been operating in Syzoi for 11 years offering the children of Syzoi therapy and education. The purpose of the program is the active interaction with the environment, the broadening of their experiences and the improvement of the quality of life of the beneficiaries.
Syzoi is the only association in Northern Greece that provides specialized intervention to people with blindness and multiple disabilities, in an environment equipped with lighting effects, color, sounds, music, aromas. The program, lasting one hour per session, is applied individually, at a frequency of 1-2 times a week, depending on the needs of each child, throughout the school year.
The goal of our action is to collect the amount of €15,000 by 29/11/2022 in order to operate the program for one year for all beneficiaries of Syzoi.

SYZOI, Association of Parents, Guardians & Friends of People with Visual Impairments & Additional Disabilities
We are parents, relatives & friends of children with vision disorders (partial or total vision loss) combined with additional disabilities (mental retardation, autism, neurological disorders, motor and sensory problems, etc.)
The main goals of our association are the achievement of the maximum potential of people with visual impairments and additional disabilities, through therapeutic and educational processes, equal education and social inclusion of children, psychological support and empowerment of their families and community awareness.
