Raising money to buy a mini van

For ten days we will use all our communication channels as well as the opportunity given by the organization of GivingThuesday to publicize the effort we are making to collect money for the purchase of a transport vehicle for children and teenagers with autism.

Action Short Description

We believe that all children have a right to education and treatment. So our children also need safe transportation to and from their home, without
making it difficult for their parents and without wasting treatments' and education's hours due to difficult commuting. Our children with autism have the right to walk in the park, on an excursion, to be transported to sports and cultural venues.
You can help us according to your ability. All together we can and will manage to get a transport van for the 90 children and adolescents with autism of the Child and Adolescent's Center.

Short Description of Institute

The Child and Adolescent's Center, is a Non-Profit Company, founded in March of 1996 and is based in Chios.
The purpose of the Center is the development and provision of mental health services, in the spirit of social and community psychiatry: prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, research study, design and implementation of public health programs, education – community awareness.
At the same time, the Center aims to design and implement Educational Programs for mental health and special education professionals and specialists.
