YouBeHero invites eshop to make their checkouts the right place to share some love this Giving Tuesday.
Action Short Description
For Giving Tuesday, YouBeHero invites Greek eshops to activate Add Donation to Cart, a WordPress/WooCommerce plugin.
Just before completing their purchase, customers can optionally add a small donation to a nonprofit chosen by the store. The customer pays the donation, so the store bears no cost, and every donation is recorded publicly and in real time for full transparency.
Setup takes three steps:
- choose a nonprofit,
- set the amounts,
- customize the look.
At the eshop Lido Esorouxa, 1 in 6 orders included a donation to Make-A-Wish Greece.
The goal is to turn Black Friday, Giving Tuesday and Christmas into an opportunity for thousands of small donations to nonprofits across Greece.
