Together for a Christmas of Dignity and Warmth! Because everyone deserves to feel the magic of the holidays. Since 2013, Emfasis has stood by those most in need, ensuring that even the most vulnerable among us experience the warmth, joy, and dignity of the Christmas season. Like every year, we are standing up for the right of our fellow citizens living in house precariousness and isolation to be part of the festive Christmas spirit.
Action Short Description
The Emfasis Christmas Campaign, Merry STREETmas, aims to bring the magic of Christmas to the people in our network who are socially vulnerable and may feel forgotten. Through a supermarket voucher, a small gift for each child, a winter sleeping bag, a warm festive meal, and simple acts of care, we aim to create moments of joy, warmth, and a sense of inclusion, reminding them that the community supports them and that the true spirit of Christmas lies in care, solidarity, and togetherness. At the same time, this support helps people meet their basic needs and encourages them to gradually move towards social and economic empowerment. Short Description of Institute
Emfasis Non-Profit is a non-profit initiative founded in 2013, advocating for the right to dignity and providing immediate and long-term support to individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness and social exclusion. Through specialized streetworkers, trained volunteers, and three mobile support units, Emfasis addresses urgent needs across Greece.
At the same time, it develops innovative programs of empowerment, prevention and advocacy, striving for a society where no one is left behind and everyone enjoys the right to dignity.
