Short Description of Institute
GIVMED Share medicine Share life has a mission to ensure access to medicines and health-related goods for socially vulnerable groups (including older adults, children, people facing poverty, refugees, people with disabilities, and individuals with mental health conditions). To achieve this, GIVMED provides software tools and coordination services to Social Pharmacies and nonprofit organizations.
Founded in March 2016, the organization has since coordinated the donation of more than 1,510,000 boxes of medicines and health-related products, with a total value exceeding €15 million, through a network of 236 nonprofit organizations and 174 donation points across Greece.
