BUILDING HOPE TOGETHER - GIVING TUESDAY WEEK

Action Short Description

The Asylon Aniaton, a place of intensive care, dignity, and daily commitment, is taking part this year in the actions of this global day with an entire week dedicated to generosity, human connection, and the joy of giving.

Our aim is to open our doors to the public, to showcase our work, our history, and—most importantly—our people. In doing so, we invite the community to witness firsthand the reality of the beneficiaries who live with us at the Institution and to support our vision:
that no person with a disability or chronic condition should ever feel invisible.

In this context, Asylo Aniathon has planned events and activities for each day of the first week of December, actively celebrating its participation in Giving Tuesday. Three of these stand out for their significance and impact:

Tuesday, December 2 – Giving Tuesday

A visit from middle school students to the Foundation, including a tour of the facilities and an interactive activity where students will “teach” the residents how to use smartphones. The aim is to raise awareness among young people and promote inclusion, bridging the gap between generations.

Wednesday, December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Adapted games and activities for the residents, celebrating diversity and highlighting the importance of accessibility and active participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.

Thursday, December 4 – Photography Exhibition

An open photography exhibition featuring images captured by the residents themselves, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., inviting the public to experience their daily lives through their own perspective.
