A three-year project focused on upgrading two facilities of the Child and Adolescent Center for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The project aims to improve infrastructure, equipment, and overall quality of life, while simultaneously fostering social inclusion and participation.

Action Short Description
The Child and Adolescent Center has launched a fundraising campaign to upgrade its facilities for people with autism in Athens:
the Day Center for Adolescents and Young Adults with Autism "In the Courtyard of the World" and the Specialized Center "Ilianthos."
These two facilities are places of learning, development, and joy for adolescents and young adults with autism. The campaign aims to secure the necessary resources to make these spaces even more welcoming, safe, and functional, offering the people they serve the environment they truly deserve.
The action includes:
- ergonomic and aesthetic interventions in the interior spaces,
- upgrading of technological and educational equipment,
- creation of sensory rooms,
- improvements to the outdoor spaces for educational and recreational activities.
The aim is to enhance the functional autonomy, creativity, and social interaction of the beneficiaries, as well as to raise community awareness about the acceptance and inclusion of people with ASD.
The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028 and has a budget of €70,000.

Founded in 1996 on the island of Chios, the Child and Adolescent Center is a non-profit organization providing mental health services. Since 2008, it has also operated in Athens, offering specialized support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and comprehensive assistance to their families.
