“Child’s Heart” is a Pan-Hellenic Association that protects, informs and helps children and adults with Congenital Heart Disease. “Child’s Heart” was founded in 1983 by parents of children with Congenital Heart Disease. Each year in Greece, about 1000 children are born with heart malformations. The main aim of the association is to provide every kind of moral and financial support to these children and their families. “Child’s Heart” counts 1.900 members and during the 40 years of operation over 5.500 children have been helped, effectively, financially and repeatedly in many different ways. “Child’s Heart” is a founding member and it collaborates with European Congenital Heart Disease Organisation ECHDO, with Greek Alliance for Rare Diseases and Greek Patient Association.
