Action Short Description
Our need for cleaner, more beautiful and healthier neighborhoods led us 2,5 years ago to roll up our sleeves and take matters into our own hands! During these years, over 41,000 volunteers in Greece, Cyprus and other countries abroad, manage to collect over 10,500,000 liters of garbage and return it to where it belongs!
On the occasion of #GivingTuesday, we invite you to help us continue our efforts in the neighborhoods of Greece! The ways are many and simple…
1. Make a donation! Do you want to contribute but don't have the time and energy to volunteer? You can help us by making a donation HERE (https://linktr.ee/saveyourhood_gr)! All our proceeds go towards the operational needs of the organization and local volunteer groups.
2. Follow Save Your Hood on Facebook and Instagram and spread the message to every neighborhood in the world!
3. Suggest an action! Through the Save Your Hood-Greece Facebook page, you can propose your own action, anywhere and anytime, by first proposing yourself and then others will follow you!
4. Become a volunteer! If you don't have anything to suggest but still want to participate, you can always see the planned actions that are announced every Thursday through our pages or ask us to put you in touch with the volunteer group in your area!

Save Your Hood is a Non-Profit Organization that was born 2,5 years ago from our need to live in cleaner, more beautiful and healthier neighborhoods! It encourages initiative and empowers individuals and groups to organize and act collectively in their neighbourhoods, while providing common ground where everyone can voice their ideas and concerns.
